old bank hidden loot..

My dad was born in 1939, his grandfather would tale him about the time when the omaha bank was held up and how the outlaws passed thew the old home place, well the money was never found but the outlaws were! some years later my dad walking down in the creek bottom found a tree that said money on it's base, being a kid he didnt pay much mind to, well he told me about this and i wanted 2 know more , so he showed me the spot that he thinks where its. That was 50 years ago and the land has been cut down and is now owend buy a rancher, do u think there would be any sign of money here or would i be waisting my time?? the bank was robbed in the 1890s there must be some old silver dollars around..

Definately worth looking into. Although, you run the chance that whomever was cutting the trees down may have also seen it and dug...
