Spent about 3 hours at an old boarding house and found some copper and silver! The site has clearly been hit before but I managed some decent finds in a couple of overgrown gardens and fringe areas. I dug several wheat pennies, a 1909 Indian Head Cent, a 1937 Merc, and a cool sterling ring. The ring seems like it might be a school ring of some sort but I'm having a hard time finding out more about it. It is dated 1915 and has the initials EBP on it. The inside of the band is stamped sterling. It's anyone familiar with rings like this one? I think it would be really awesome to find an old family member to return it to. Thanks!
