Now that looks like fun. Great digs! The older boy scout items are really nice. I wonder how many of those neckerchief slides are lost by the scouts every year?
A timely post: Today I received an invitation to attend the 60th anniversary (1953) of the BSA Jamboree in Newport Beach.
Unfortunately, all artifacts lost then are now buried under Fashion Mall.
Don.......
Wow!! interesting about the 60th anniversary jamboree. The penny fixed to the neckerchief slide is a 1953!. Now I have read the God and Country slogan dates to late 50's early 60's. Any BSA experts out there know anything about the neckerchief slide in the pic, the one that says "forward" looks to have a coat of arms on it. The Eagle Scout dad pin is sliver, I couldn't find anything on-line that exactly match that one.
