These are finds I made in the last month or so at and old B.S.A Camp. Looks to date back to the 1940's or 50's

I am the COR ( Charter Organization representative ) for my church. I am basically in charge of both the Cub Scouts as well as the Boy Scouts as well as communication back to the church. I started off as Assistant Scoutmaster.

This site must of never been Md. If it was it wasn't much at all. I did spend alot of time there but still. Hard to find untouched spots these days. In the future I hope to have more to post from this site. One thing I want to do is put the better finds in a shadow box or something. One shadow box of just everything from this camp. Maybe give it back to the owners to display at the camp.

Another nice thing I have learned about hunting old BSA camps is there shouldn't much trash compared to a public park. The Scouts wouldn't be as careless about tossing bits of trash on the ground. I have hunted other old camps and have never found anything close to this much stuff at one camp. I just got lucky and must of been one of the first to hunt it good. Some of the old camps around me were 300+ acres. Good finds can be anywhere! Would take years for places that size to be hunted out. Not going to find anything supper old but they are worth checking out, of course with permission!
