✅ SOLVED old brass thing found in new field today. what is it?

I found this thing today in a new field, it is the only thing I found in two hours. Could it be from some horse harness? 5 cm long and 1.3 wide. Any help will be appreciated. found in Denmark. Possible midevil knife handle.

Yes, a guy from Denmark think that it could be a midevil knife handle. If any one disagree i am interested in hearing what you all think.
