Trying to find the age of this everwear buckle. Also found this turqouise and silver bracelet near an old home site but cannot find more online. Marked NK. Thanks for any help!

Welcome to T-net ! Great on that turquoise and sterling silver bracelet !!! Are you in the Southwest somewhere ? (looks Navajo )
With care , that bracelet can be put back in shape ! Silver is quite malleable .

Thanks! I love this detecting hobby! I have piles of finds from the past few months to share sometime....I am in Wisconsin. :)

I spent a couple years in Milwaukee back in the 1970's (on a Coast Guard Ice Breaker ) I had a friend who used to go hit some parks in that
old city- with a Whites 6000 series I think - he would come back with buffalos, mercs, Indians , Barbers, etc. I was so jealous . I sure wish I
had bothered to get a detector back then , instead of blowing my money on guitars , weed , and alcohol .

Nice job Keep up the good work

WELCOME TO T-NET! Very nice finds! :icon_thumright: :occasion18::sunny:

I agree your bracelet could be Navajo & it has a classic look and lovely stone. The earlier Navajo silver jewelry was not marked with any maker mark, so your marked bracelet may be of later vintage, but still possibly rather old. I have a book that helps with this but too sleepy to research it. My mom & dad bought some lovely silver & turquoise Navajo jewelry directly from the makers, and a bit later in life they also made simple but elegant jewelry for family members in honor of the classic Navajo style. So if your bracelet isn't actually Navajo, it could have been instead created by a craftsman smitten with that style.

If you want to, you can post these pics plus pics of your other grooviest finds in the Best Finds forum, which is what I intend to do with my now-3-year-detecting collection as soon as I have time & energy to figure out how to post pics, lol. HAVE FUN! Andi
