Old buckle and thimble

I’ve been pounding these fields first day found a 1738 reale and since like 40 musket balls a few buttons anyway last night and the night before I finally found these does anyone know what kind of buckle it is? Shoe/knee? It’s small and if anyone can date it I would much appreciate it
