Click to expand... Justed checked my book, to test my memory. I got the date wrong, but it is a Spur Buckle - 1575-1650s. The beast head some what throw me, these are normally an early date, a debased image from the saxon era. Very nice type, there is not one in the book exactly the same, only similar. Doesn't mean its rare, just not really common.
