Dug this real deep near a old stone cellar hole that produced some other good finds. It's a lot bigger than the pictures make it look.

Sweet that you found both halves!! It's an early 1900s lady's sash buckle, and by the antennae I agree with moth.

I was lucky. They were quite far apart from one another and didn't damage them. One antenna was bent but I don't dare try to straighten it! (:
