This is exactly what it says:
The purchaser of this Ford car no. 105539 agrees at the time of purchase to register his car number with the Ford Motor Company at Detroit Mich. U.S. as the owner of this automobile in order to be protected under the warranty of the manufacturer patented Dec 22 1903 Nov 11 1904 April 23 1905 March 19 1907 and Feb 18 1908 manufactured by Ford Motor Company Detroit Mich

It's a Ford patent plate. Model T plates were made of brass.

Ford model S is my guess by the number

Is that actually how many were made at that time.

Why do the patents stop at 1908 ? And I found a 1912 plate and it doesn't match did they have variations ?
