Old cellar hole produces. Just outside the foundation I believe I have found the remains of the kitchen. The building burned during the fire that swept across Maine in October 1947. This is some of the more notable finds.

Nice pile of finds, Lucky...and yes, looks like everything from the kitchen except the sink! I've dug a silver Washington that looks just like your burnt Merc, from a fire also. I bet there's also lot more targets yet to be found, Ddf.

Old homes often had out buildings for there kitchen. It reduced the chance that a kitchen fire would take down the residence. Looks like that is what you found. I would check all over that site if you haven’t yet, probably more to be found. Congrats

Thats a nice find id be going back there for sure check some of that silverware might be some good silver ones in there always like embossed bottles
