Finally got out for a few hours this weekend and found some odds and ends. Some silver items - rosey, bracelet and kids ring ("Kiddiegem" from decades ago). Always wanted to dig one of those chauffeur badges I have seen on this site and now I can cross that one off my list. Even had the pin on the back. I found a couple more good potential sites and in the couple hours I tried them - I came back with a few wheats and a 1906 IH. For sure I am going back to try that area again. Also found what looks like a name-inscribed on a brass door plate to someone's house, another advertising letter opener, a few vintage marbles, shaker lids, suspender clip ("Crown make"), thimble (labeled "Meet the Wife"), cameo pin and other assorted relics.

Thanks for looking!

HH!

WoW .. What a haul! The chauffeur badge is a beauty! Also would love to know the history on the brass ID tag.
You had a great hunt!

Lots of cool stuff there! Love the badge. HH

Great finds :icon_thumright:The badge is a cool find.

I like the letter opener; not that the other finds aren't interesting either. I've sent back dog tags to owners, even old tags to relatives. Maybe you can do that to the one you found. Of course the ones I couldn't return I still have and they are a great item for conversation!

I love your chauffer's badge...the graphics are great. I found a 1927 NY badge but it is rather plain compared to yours. What does it say on the letter openner? I can't make it out.
