Airville is an unincorporated community in York County, Pennsylvania, United States. Airville is located in the southeastern part of the county where Pennsylvania Route 74 and Pennsylvania Route 425 intersect and is about 4 miles outside Woodbine.

"Old church grove"...?! And in 1882...?!
That could be a honey-hole of a spot, perhaps Rev War or Indian wars time, maybe.......

Church is Gone. Since 132 Years have passed since the article,
it could have been anywhere south of 425 most likely on the east side of 74.
Dr. Smiths House was Approximately where the 74 is & on the west side

I would think the Church Grove had Plenty of Shade.
But the woods Could be gone.
Interesting enough where the Green X is ya just never know till ya get permission and
check the land .
