Neat coins, they're in good shape. The one with the 2 on it I believe is from Austria. I could be wrong but I have some of those in my old coin collection. Been a while since I dug into that.

Very nice finds - and your first coin is an Austrian 2 Heller

"The coin is an Austrian 2 heller of 1894.

The double-headed eagle was an old Byzantine Empire symbol. The bird looks both East and West, symbolizing an empire that rules over both the East (Asia) and West (Europe). The symbol was annexed by Ottoman conquerors of the Byzantines, and was also used by the Holy Roman Empire and several other European monarchies (most notably Russia) to symbolize their goal of a world-spanning empire, and to stake a claim as being the one true successors to the ancient Roman empire.

Austria was also one half of a "federal empire", the Austro-Hungarian Empire. So in Austria the two heads of the eagle took on a second meaning, standing for the two (theoretically) equal halves of the empire (Austria and Hungary)."

Mike

Thanks so much!

The button is an Indian Wars-Era button--1870s up to 1901.  Backmark on the button might narrow it down a bit more.
