OLD COMPACT?

Found this at an old 1780's farm house this weekend.
It has a glass insert on top locked in with a lock ring. (this could have been maybe a mirror)
Princess Pat is labeled on the top half. Also has labeled princess pat , Ltd. Chicago.
Bottom half has the words Vivid three times in a circle.

Yes, it's an old compact or rouge tin. I did a search and found several items in the Princess Pat line on e-bay, though none look just like this one. Princess Pat was a cosmetic company in Chicago that "closed in the 1930s after being in business for over 50 years." They were really big in the '20s. In good condition, the tins sell on e-bay for around $10.
