Went back to the spot that my father and I found the 1802 Draped Bust Largie in and managed to pull up two coppers each day in the past two days. I managed to pull three Connecticut Coppers (1787, 178-, 178-) and my father managed to pull what appears to be an 1805-1806 Birmingham mint Hibernia Half-Penny (I could be entirely wrong on that). The date is fairly wiped so any ideas would be appreciated.

I have found nearly 30 coppers, and only 1 silver. Some sites are just like that, though it appear my whole state is like that.

Awesome coppers, I have never found more than one in a hunt for some reason!

Excellent. My colonial copper to silver ratio is probably about 1:15 or so. There must be some there...hidden...waiting...

Old pennies are the black sand of silver coins. Listen small and deep.
