I excited about the rest of the old golf course, I be hunting for all winter I have unlimited access and to find old silver wow what else is out there . The golf course was built in 1927 so more silver to be found.

Nice find! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more of your posts from your new hot spot.

HH ALL

Should I clean it or leave as is??

Awesome Find!!! I absolutely LOVE those Walkers! That's a pretty good year too I believe, they only made it in San Francisco! Congratz!

Great find, wow! Try some gentle cleaning methods, if you do anything. Try a soft-bristled toothbrush and water. Or you could microwave hydrogen peroxide in a bowl for about 30 seconds, then drop the coin in and let it fizz for a few moments, then rinse the coin under cool water. Whatever method, just pat dry on paper towels or a terry cloth when done. I would avoid scraping or rubbing, or harsh chemicals, but that's just me :).

Thanks, I'm thinking leaving as is I seen you tube videos people funding walking liberty and never thought that I would find one , man I'm still excited!!!!

Very Cool! They have a 5 acre course here they just converted to a City park and I have found a few Silvers there...biggest problem is the silvers may be only 3-4" and clad can sometimes be 10" lol

Congrats on the Big Silver!

Congrats! Sounds like you will be very busy. Good luck and HH!

Going back on Sunday morning with leashe spade shovel

Golf courses are good if you can get permission to dig em. I use a 9 iron.
What with tees, gloves, golf balls, etc coming out of pockets, coins will be lost.
