Old Farm Garden Fork

Since I detect a lot of very old former farmland now overgrown with mature woods I do run across hand tools. I've found rakes, hoes, scythes, small sickles, broken plow teeth, chains, hitches, horse and oxen shoes, yoke hardware, and ox and sheep bells. Today I got this fork which seems quite old. Another piece of the farm life puzzle.

Just a guess,but maybe a potato fork.For digging potatoes and like produce.
