Old farm house delivers a fine silver find

Hunting property of an old farm house in Buckner Missouri tonight. Pulled a 1894 quarter dollar out of a hole about 4" deep.

Nice silver there. That one is in great condition also. Lots of detail left on it. Looks like it got hit across the back though.

Great find! Very nice looking coin.
As far as the mint mark, that's the first time I've ever seen any that offset.
It may add some value or may be considered a variety. Don't really know.

Never seen a misaligned mint mark before on a Barber, is that a scratch on the shield, right side, or another error as well?
