Certainly looks Asian to me- China /Japan would be my guess - pretty modern too I'd guess 1950's or later .

chinese cash coin. I'm not really very knowledgeable about them, but I believe the ones with a round hole were the last version made, ending in 1908

honestly, I don't have a clue as to value, but I don't think the newer ones have much value at all.
