Many of you may've already seen these, but since we have a few new faces here, I figure why not post a few, especially since I haven't had the time to get out and do some looking. Found these two on a gravel bar years ago. The Cowhouse would've been enough, but found the LaFayette not five minutes later.

Very nice, thanks and I think I have something like the bottom one, will break it out and have another look and if similar ill post and see what you think.

Nice! That blade is pretty and translucent...
 

I have read that some consider the Cowhouse Slough to be a Simpson preform. Any validity to that? It could fit if I understand correctly.

May well be, but I sure don't know. Here's my only one. Found it in a very small creek where a beaver dam had blown out during heavy rains.

Beautiful Paleo Flaking on the Cowhouse. What a great study piece.
