Dug this old flint lock plate to a musket of some kind the other night? Just got finished with electrolysis. Maybe the notches on top of the brass catch pan are kills? If anyone can ID it would be helpful.

Very nice! Try going to Butch’s Antique Gun Parts on the internet to see whether you can ID your part. I have no idea what the notches represent.
