Hi everyone,

Finally had a chance to post my latest finds, got out over the last few days with Fr3nchy27, and our newest recruit (Nick), he is still learning the ropes and his machine, i told him to make an account on here. We went back to the old foundation that has produced for Fr3nchy27 and myself in the past, i ended up findin the old multi-colored (Broach/Pin?), i didnt know it had all the colors till i cleaned it today, definately a really nice find. Nick and i hit up an old 1 room school site that is about 2 minutes from my dads house, thats where i dug a 1910 wheatie, 1897 IH penny and the sweet 1911 barber dime!, also dug an 18K plated gold ring, with 5 holes in top, possible stones at one time, ended up diggin an old gold plated pin, either a V or an A, you decide, i can't lol. Dug an old watch or locket? tough to tell definately old though, and my last find from the one room school, and old hat pin or hair pin. On the way back home we stopped at another old park that Fr3nchy27 told me about in the past and ive visited a few times, and after about 10 minutes there i dug a 1954 nickel, re-scanned the hole and had and even better signal then when i first dug it!, up pops a nice 1953 D Rosie! Happy Dirt Fishing everyone!, Nick seems to have been bit by the bug even though he hasnt found any keepers yet, he seems to really enjoy it, i imagine he will be one of the newest members of the "Dirt Fishing Crew" here pretty soon. Enjoy the pics!.

HH,
-Dan

The pin looks as if it might be Cloisonne/Cloison. Means partitioned. usually copper and specialiazed enamel. Some are quite valuable. I could be wrong but check it out.

Hey Dan,did you find out what the "V" pin is? It could be a volunteer militia pin.The "V" looks quite similar to that on the volunteer militia buckle.Just a thought,WTG! Bootstrap :icon_pirat:
