I have been using my White Surfmaster II for 16 year on Florida beaches, she has yet to not find gold. The only problem with the machine is on wet sand you really have to decrease the sensitivity. The pic shows this past Sunday morning excluded are a silver ring(my daughter got to before I took a pic) and a silver cross I gave to my son. My wife let me take a pic of the gold ring before she confiscated it.
I will be upgrading to a new machine , I don't which one yet. Until then I can't complain. Scrooge
