Old "Gold" Pocket Watch / Few Silver goodies

Weather has finally been bearable the last week or so, decided to do a little road tripping and hit some virgin (to me) spots.

Manage to pull out this Old pocket watch that was seriously around 12"-14" inches down in a gravel driveway, which was not a fun dig

Its weird because it tested positive for 14k, but just doesn't seem to have the weight I would expect. It came out looking like crap, but I soaked it in Peroxide and the thing came out Gleaming!

Also found this silver 20 Centavos, which looks like it was made into jewelry or something. and of course....a Rosie.

Whats crazy about the spot where I got the Silver, is that there has been a total of 8 Silver coins and 30+ wheats on this site....and maybe a 10 memorials dating back to the 60s. Why that is crazy to me is that its an active Baseball field that dates back 100+ years...yet I dont find anything modern.

The Whizzer centavo could also be a concho or a part of a bracelet as I have seen similar ones that were both. I remember making wood whizzers when I was little. Awesome finds either way!!!

Nice finds there. It seems a lot of those coins from the U.S. held Philippines came back with our soldiers stationed there during the second world war.

All really cool finds. Digging through over a foot of gravel had to totally SUCK! You got the goods though and she is sweet. Love the Centavo made into jewelry. Very nice find. Way to go.
