The book clasp would be a rare find. I know they were widely used back in the days of vellum pages, but I wouldn’t think a lot would be found via metal detecting. Hat is a special item IMO.👍🏼

We find a lot of Tudor Book Clasps, but this Medieval type is pretty rare, I know I have less than 5 with this one.
