Let the next guy restore it. Some people even prefer the "patina". Don't know an exact value but those 50s bikes are very collectible. Lots of info if you Google "Hiawatha Vanguard"

Complete Girls bikes are not worth as much as a boys because boys took everything off it to lighten it up and basically beat the heck out of it...Some girl bike parts fit boys bikes and by so you get a more valuable complete bike...if it was a schwinn I would part it out, the wheels, front fender with light, the horn in the tank, the seat, handle bars,rear fender, chain guard, reflectors can add up more $ than a complete girls bike!
