Old home place

Hunting an old home place I found an old Button. The back reads Horstmann Phila. It was made sometime between 1893 and 1935. I also found a large buckle and several jar lids. No jars full of money....just lids.

Your Horstman backmark was used from 1893-1935, however, that US Great Seal was used from 1902-present. That would make your button from 1902-1935.

Thanks for the re-sizing. I'll try to do a better job next time I post a pic.
Also thanks for the info on the button. That was my most intresting find so far.
Researching finds can be as much fun as finding them. And yes that is a smashed funnel. They don't make 'em like that anymore.
