Nice finds.. I really like that wall mount or whatever it is in the top left picture in the upper left hand corner.. Would look great cleaned up hanging on the wall..

Thanks! Yeah that's what I was thinking. Maybe a cool wallet and keys holder by the door.

My wife would surely have a candle or a potted plant on it for sure LOL...

Haha! That's not a bad idea either.

A friend and I went to a spot he found and we found old things in with new things. No coins yet, but after we get through all the trash and relics I hope to find some. Here's a few pics of random stuff found yesterday.

Love that Model "T" buckle!

Yeah, it's pretty cool, but I don't know if it's a buckle or some kind of mailer or something like that. It looks pretty old and I've never seen anything like it before.

You know I just thought of something, it could be a promotional keychain. It looks like there might have been a small loop on the left side.

So I just found a pic of it in better shape and it was in fact a keychain. I took off all the good patina when I used electrolysis...lesson learned.

I am sure that is one of Henry Fords promotional items. Even the price is on it! He made the Model T for years. You could find out when they sold new for $750 and you would have an approximate age. It is truly a piece of Americana. Wonderful find! It would be an idea to relic hunt that whole area. Great fun! HD :)

Haha, Electrolx Bong. Classic! Yeah, this site is going to take months to go through. An there is more down the road even. There's an old man made watering hole that I want to hit next. There was so much stuff at this place that every five seconds I was like "oh cool what's that" "oh what's over there" "oh that's shiny"
The first spot we hunted was two old out houses with full bottles in the privy. My buddy got those so I didn't get pix, but I'll try to get him to send a few of his finds so I can post.

That's a great way to date the area. I've been looking around to find the date on that keychain, but no one is getting a solid answer. I plan to go back and find everything I can when I go back. It's a crazy area, that keychain was only 2 inches deep. It rang up as a penny. I guess the roots of this tree it was under pushed it up to the top.
