Old house site today....

I hunted the yard of an 90 year old house site this morning. Very trashy yard with a lot of iron. Very slow going, but managed to pull a few keepers any way. A few wheaties, an old jack, Alabama state tax token, piece of jewelry and an old ceramic Ball mason jar lid. The zinc cap crumbled while trying to remove it. Kind of neat find though. It was a good morning.......TR

Neat old brass shot gun shell ends. I found a few the other day as well. I love hunting old home places but like you said the iron is awful.
