Well went out to old Lake Isabella. Using the trusty Garrett GTI2500. Here are a few pictures of the landscape. The lake is very dry I was told that they need it low so the army corps of engineers can fix the dam.

Take a look at what happens when the lake is low. These foundations are the sites of old Lake Isabella.

So I know you all want to see what I found. $.34 some fishing sinkers, a fishing lure, rest just junk, the money is all late 60's , three dimes all early 70's . Still enjoyed the experience. Enjoy the pics.

Oh almost forgot while I was searching county sheriff stopped by and asked me what I was digging for. " I shown him and he stated to ensure I don't disturb any archeological artifacts, I told him I wouldn't also he stated ensure I bury my holes. No worries. What I did notice though someone was there before me because there were holes and not filled in. When I swung my coil over the holes it registered as iron. Why didn't the guy before me fill in his holes. Great to know though whenever I do dig someone always stops by.
