personally, I don't think it was made as an animal (although it does look like a squirrel). It look like a broken part of something to me

The opposite side is flat. But it is definitely lead. You suppose someone could have hand carved this?
 

Dug up this little guy yesterday at an older house. It is a lead figure of some kind of animal, but what? Squirrel? Cat?

What do you think?
Could be window sealing lead, therefore a putty cat (if you don't have window putty in the states, please ignore this lame joke ):laughing7:
