Found this at a site in W PA with habitation from 1790-1950. Any idea on mfg or date range?

Appears to have a number 3 near the center of the Eagle crest. Thx!!!
 

Ive seen that Eagle symbol before cant remember though. Thats a cool find wonder if its Railroad related Great find though!!!!!

Right down to the placement of the rivets. I'd say that's pretty conclusive (although I'd point out the "?" after the phrase "Civil War Era" on that Worthpoint page. They're guessing, obviously, but its certainly possible. Looks like the company, Eagle Lock Company, was founded in 1833. More info about them here:
