old lock

Hi Dug this up near a civil war bullet. Would like to know if it's from, the 1800's or whenever? Says English made on it. TY
ps. The lock is 1 1/2 inches wide

It looks like a 4 lever or six lever pancake lock, circa 1880-1900.
