David Rumsey Historical Map Collection | The Collection

has some great older maps in his database. Definitely worth a look when your researching places to hunt.

Long time ago when I lived in another state I was looking for maps of a location I got just what I wanted from The USGS they had old maps from the 1880 that showed old homes and roads I don't know if they still sell them , might be worth a look see
