Old medallion

Digging the site of an old hospital in GR and found the medallion from a meeting of a female fraternal organization known as Degree of Honor.

Those finds are neat...the ones like this that we don't recognize when we extract it from the earth.

The research in determining their origin is usually what educates us about its history. Love these kinds of finds.
