Bridal Chamber mine I think it was called the silver was so rich it went from the mine to the bank. The photo didn't come out great, it is silver in matrix from La Alhambra Mine near Silver City NM

A 7,000+ ounce of silver went direct to the Denver mint, not the bank. Anyone with a picture of the inside of the bridal chamber could get up to 5k for it or more. Current shot of the Bridal Chamber entrance. Close to collapsing. It was only 60' down to the rich find.

Haven't been over to Lake Valley for years, but back in the 80s, the open stope was still visible from the Lake Valley/Hillsboro road, maybe a couple hundred yards east.

Olive in north Georgia, it would be great if I could find some old mining sites here!
