Old Palmolive Compact case

Hi everyone!!
A couple of weeks ago I found these 2 separate pieces on different days.
I was detecting on a Saturday morning when I picked up the bottom part which I thought was just an old lid
to a bottle. The next day I remember finding the Palmolive lid and thought was neat but didn't know what it was used for.
This past weekend I was putting all my weeks finds away and both were setting next to each other and I was like wait a minute.
I then was able to see that they went together. I guess it's a somewhat rare compact but to bad it's in bad condition lol.
It's still a pretty neat find in my book.

nice save, love finding the compacts complete, but the next best if finding the top, then the bottom, wtg
