We have hit this park a few times and never had any luck. It is the oldest park in town. I imagine it has been hunted to death. Well it took 6 inches of topsoil removed before we finally found some goodies. Unfortunately there was a ton of iron, but we still managed a few finds. 1917s Merc, a Rosie, an old lock (don't know much about locks) and Dad found a 1899 indian (not pictured). Also found a few wheats 1917,1941, 1945. I believe the city will be tearing the shell down along with ripping more of the park up. May get a few more chances.

The Merc isn't the prettiest looking thing, but I really do like the lock

Thanks for looking

The land was donated around 1870ish. Not long after the town was established. Not much stood in this area back then. The town was quite small. Objects were dug between 1 and 3 inches. Any idea how old the lock is? Any info would be appreciated.
