Old permission new prospects

Well one of my old permissions that had two houses from the 1880’s built on two separate lots has the one story house cleared off the land. We’ve found silver, Indians, civil war bullets, and other civil war relics on it. Went, and tracked down the owner, and not only got written permission to hunt it, but also on the note it states NO ONE ELSE ALLOWED, and he said if anyone is out there to run them off

Good Luck on the new hunting area!

Thanks. I’ve been meaning to update my new finds lately on today’s finds from the civil war site we were at this weekend. Found something that has some provenance to the town in which I’ll be detecting, and where I found it was nearly 70 miles away.

Went out today to the side where one of the homes was torn down, found 1907 Indian, 1951 wheat cent, 1943 Mercury dime, and 2 .58 minie balls. Cleaning up now and will post pics later, will be going back tomorrow to hunt that empty lot, and the 1880’s mansion next to it
