old Photo with stamp United States Express

Bought this photo recently at an estate sale for 15 dollars. There is some address info on the back that says: donns brothers (something) main st
Uniontown, PA.

If my pictures do not appear please let me know as I am new.

copied this from a web site...... "The United States Express Company, which operated from 1854 to 1914, was a privately owned company that forwarded parcels and freight. The company served the northern states from New England west to Colorado."

I believe that the US Express Company was absorbed by Wells Fargo, although I'm not 100% sure. The stamp could be worth some decent money. I suggest you devote some time to do some research on it.

From what I see, It reads:

Donns Bros

(something) Main St

Union (Something)

I think I figured some of it out.

I think the back says: Downs Bros.
9 W Main St.
Uniontown, PA.

As for the shipping label I havent been able to figure out much on the from Address. Downs Brothers was an early photography company in Uniontown. (again, I think.)
