Old pics of my street + as is now

This is the street in front of my house. Couldn't find dates of photos. I'm guessing early 1900's. Note confederate memorial statue in center of road. Found date. 1913

Actually cynangyl the only thing that has changed are the trees and I have a sign and some flowers in front of my place now. My wife just received a new camera about 20 min. ago. Will post more soon. I gotta get back to MDing. This town has a great Civil war history.

Where the hell is Weldon?
I'm from western N.C. myself. Is Weldon down in the flatlands? If you don't get back to MDing, can I fly in and do a little hunting?

Hey Laffite, Weldon is in the north east next to I-95. Got the post cards from someone in the historical society. This town was a staging area for the confederacy. They would bring equipment, soldiers etc., & load them on the train.
