Old piece?

Could I get some help with a possible ID and age? I’m unaware of the material. In my area I usually find over 95% obsidian artifacts but every once in a while I find a colored up piece.

It has a large stem, I first thought it was a broke drill but the tapered bottom is rounded and ground like it is the base of a long atlatl point perhaps. Anyways I’m at a level 0 on knowledge for these things so I appreciate any info! Found in S.E Idaho.

It does have that Stemmed paleo look to it... would have been a killer if whole...

Definitely looks like a stemmed Paleo base......maybe Cougar Mtn or Hell Gap
