Nice finds. What are the coins you found? Looks like a good place to hunt if you ask me. Way To Go!

Hi piggman1
The coppers are pennies/ halfpennies of King george 1 or 11
they are worn smooth I can't really tell for sure.

The silver coin is also worn smooth, can't tell what date but it will be 18??
its a young head of Queen Victoria.

Dave.

my grandfather once told me a story about how as kids, they would take old pocket watches, tie them on strings and swing them at each other trying to get the watches to smash. yeah, makes me cringe too at all the cool watches that met their demise. this type of stuff may explain why you found one peice far away from the other!

More to come from that field. I think you get a nice Livery Button soon.

West Ham Union Workhouse, Union Road [1888]

Nice finds

Not long before the season really starts, look forward to your finds :)

Nice diggs Dave. Cool watch and intresting how spread out it was.

Keep diggin'...

Few days ago, I have founded the antique pocket watch from my grandfather's locker. It's looking so old at least 100 years old. It is made by Waltham watch company. It's looking very heavy and well-designed.

pocket watches are always a fun dig :icon_thumleft:
