Old pot, after fourth attempt

I finally got this old pot out of it's resting place on the fourth day out, it's hard digging while on your knees with your arms in, up to the shoulders. Not banner material, but I'll take it. Found near an old home site that has given me a 1907 Indian and 1890s shotgun shells.

No matter how hard times get you will always have a pot to p--- in

sometimes you just can't give up, even though you know that it isn't that big super prize. sometimes it is just the principal of the whole thing and afterwards it becomes a prize in its own right. I still like it and think that it is a cool find.

LOL. Yeah, it seemed a little weird, but I figured it had been there long enough. However, it did have a glass jar inside it, and three other jars in the same hole.
