Today around noon, met a buddy from work, Jer123.
We hunted a county park and he scored some clad and a couple rings. Best I found was a '59 memorial.
I decided to go north and ended up at the "invisible" schoolhouse, built in the late '1800's and been gone for 40 years....small area I've been hunting is 75' x 30 feet, where there is a circular drive around this small lot.
Wow, looks like a new coil makes a difference....thought I'd taken all there is to give on 3 previous hunts....
Dug a bunch of wheats from the '30's and 40's, a couple more Indians, they will have to be soaked and restored. Too much fertilizer used on this lawn, a house sits directly behind this site.
Thanks for looking. FFD

sweet silver! cant wait until i dig a silver quarter :D i have an old school house im looking forward to hunt this weekend or sometime soon   HH

Awesome score's on the silver FFD  I seen you said a different coil and was wondering if it's a smaller one(for trashy area) or bigger (for the deep targets), I know since I bought all my coils I rarely use the stock coil anymore. I've been trying to talk my brother into buying a smaller one for his Minelab SE, them trashy area's are sometimes impossible to hunt with the stock coil.

Thanks for replies all. Giant, I'm using a 10x12 coil, not sure if I get better depth over stock, but seperation is pretty good, even in trash. I like it because it covers more ground. I have hit silver dimes at around 7-8", don't know if there is anything deeper than that in the places that I hunt. FFD
