My wife and kids went to a old school house from the mid 1800's to early 1900's and we had a blast digging tons of nails. Only coin found was a 1915 wheat which had been holed for a necklas,I believe.
This site has great potental, just have to get past all the iron, suprisingly we found no shotgun shells pretty crazy for deep in the woods and deer stand right down the drawl from the school foundation.
my wife dug the cool thing with KING on it, It looks to be something from a book maybe, Any ideas would be great.
We'll post more when we get back out their.
Happy Hunting, Ray, Tracy and the youngins.

Hi Ray, looks like you three did well considering all those nails! Once you clean the junk out no telling what you guys will find there!

Keep us posted.

Ya got out with the wife & kids! Anything after that is just icing on the cake!

Nice post Ray. That school site looks very promising especially once you guys weed out the trash.

Keep diggin'....

I have hunted an old school house site in the woods, found plenty of shotgun shells though. One of those signals turned out to be an 1881 indian, dig it all. Looks like a great site. HH
