Been working ~10 permissions in the same town and recently secured a new permission at the post Civil War town hall. The town hall produced an 1803 Draped Bust Large Cent, my new, oldest coin ever, a broken skeleton key, and an old buckle. I gained permission at an 1830s school last year and hit it multiple times with the 5x8 inch coil with no luck. Today, I threw on the stock coil for my AT Pro and dug all the crappy, questionable targets. Over a 3 hour hunt in the 20 ft x 15 ft front yard I snagged an 1883 IHP, followed by an 1875 Seated Liberty Dime (my 2nd seated from this town), then an 1884 IHP, and finally, in the same hole, a flat button and a watch winding key. After unproductive hunts since January, today was much needed! SAT DOWN.webp

Nice finds!!! I’ve found taking the time skimming all the junk and questionable tones really pays off in the long run! Good work!!

Nice stuff. I cannot get enough of the IHCs -- just love to see them brought up from the dirt! Congratulations.

Wtg! Sometimes I wonder what all I have passed up and over. Congrats on your return with a different approach to save those cool finds.

Hard work rewarded- Congrats on some sweet finds!

Wow, that would be an all time day for me. A seated coin and large Cent are still on my bucket list.
