Hello.
Yesterday I was metal detecting in an old town park where I live in and the town was the first white settlement here in Montana.
According to Gaia Gps, there used to be several old buildings where I was at.
The park is still used today. According to newspapers.com, the town purchased seven acres of the old stock yards for establishing a town park back in 1908, and then the park was completed in 1921. I am still trying to find information on the original owner of the property.

Thanks in advance for any help that you can give.

What is a three loop trace and how old could it be?It was buried about 10 inches.

Thanks for the great information!

Think of it as a strap guide for harnessing a draft horse. The pictures are from a catalog printed in 1907.
