old style pull tab and civil war 3 ringer same TID of 16 problem

I have my Equinox 800 so one assigned tone break is 16-19 for civil war bullets.


but a large old style pull tab rings up a solid 16.

so is there any other way to overcome this problem or do I just have to dig all 16 TID's.

Try pushing all metal (Horseshoe icon) while pumping coil up and down over target, if it reads a lower reading or goes into the minus then it is probably junk, if it stays rock steady on 16-19 then it is a solid object I saw this on you tube on a pull tab/nickel scenerio, not sure how this will work on a bullet.I am yet to test it myself but what do you have to lose by trying it.

I will try that when the rain stops. I kept the offending ring pulls and have three civil war bullets I purchased on ebay so I could see how the different calibers rang up on the Nox 800.
